The project expects to provide numerous jobs during the course of construction and operation.

• An average of 4,500 jobs will be created over the four year construction phase.
• Upon completion, 1,826 permanent jobs (paying approximately $20-$30 per hour) will be created for the ongoing operation of the refinery and associated utility plant.
• Hyperion is committed to a LOCAL First! initiative to train and hire South Dakota workers for the project.
